Conceria Montebello

Conceria Montebello produces bovine leathers, full grain and suede for the fashion sector.

Both basic and sophisticated articles are designed and produced in collaboration with the most prestigious brands, suited for clothing, leather goods, footwear and interior design. Running since 1967, exporting in 3 continents.

Conceria Montebello was founded in 1967 thanks to Giuseppe Dalle Mese’s will and spirit of entrepreneurship.
In 1977, the company became a joint stock company. Conceria Montebello  tans and finishes leather for footwear, furniture, clothing and leather goods and its market of reference is not only Europe, but goes further,  beyond the Ocean.
At the end of the 80’s Giuseppe, the founder, has been supported by his son Gianfranco and his son-in-law Filippo Brancati. Gianfranco is involved in the production and the research of new fashion trends, whereas Filippo manages the business and administrative area. The team is successful; and it is exactly in these years that the first collections and collaborations with designers have been  developed to offer fashionable and innovative products to the most prestigious Fashion Houses.
Significant investments have been made since 2000: the company is completely restored thanks to the intervention of Giuseppe's daughter, Architect Nadia Dalle Mese, who guides the transformation of buildings by rationalizing the entire production cycle and lines through new automation processes. Following this renovation, the tannery gets environmental and quality certification.
In 2008 and throughout the international crisis period, the company does not use the unemployment benefits, focusing on its employees, an indisputable value for the whole family and keepers of a unique know-how.
Between 2010 and 2011, the tannery reinforces its structure: the warehouse is mechanized, a new department for pairing hides is opened and management control improved.
In 2016, a laboratory was built in order to manage the control activity previously performed by suppliers. This allows the company to focus on environmental compliance goals and pursue sustainable development policy.
In 2017, the tannery celebrates its 50th anniversary and welcomes  the entry of the third generation into the company in the last decade. They join the group with enthusiasm, energy and always looking to the future.
