Volga Tannery is one of the largest tanneries in Russia. It is a modern production facility allowing to supply the customers with the products of required quality and in guaranteed volumes. The plant was founded in 1730 as tanning manufacturing works of merchant Savin, and it has been operating since that time. Our catalogue offers more than 70 types of tanned leather for shoes, accessories, garments as well as by-products.
The tannery has a long history of successful work for the prosperity of Russia, developing great traditions of leather craftsmanship since 1730. Many of nowadays employees are notable successors of Seliger tannery workers dynasties in the fourth and fifth generations. We regularly modernize the tannery production facilities, improve technologies and develop production potential adhering to the best of our traditions: perfect quality and excellence of our craftsmen.

Being one of the largest employers in the Tver Region, Volga Tannery employs over 1 200 workers and specialists. We take constant care about the ecology, tannery’s workers, improvement of its EMS policy, rationalization of the tannery internal processes.
