LVMH has published LIFE2020: Four objectives towards environmental excellence as part of its ongoing programme of embedding sustainable development throughout the business.

The video reports against  its four environmental objectives of reducing the environmental footprint of its products, implementing the highest environmental and social standards across its supply chain, reducing CO2 emissions and improving environmenta; efficiency.

The report prioritises the use environmentally responsible materials and identifies that key to reducing its carbon footprint is producing products that last. It also targets that 70% of its leather will come from LWG (Leather Working Group) certified tanneries by 2020 and clearly looks to leather as being part of its long term goal of ensuring that luxury and sustainability go hand in hand.
